My story:

Had a battle with my weight since teenage years.

Now 34. Proud mother of 2 adopted children.

Gastric band surgery Feb 2004.

Lost about 100 pounds...took until 2008.

2008 adoption of my second child....STRESS! Could not keep liquids down, had the band loosened. Back from Russia, had the band tightened, loosened, tightened, loosened...now back to where it was.

Gained back 60 pounds :(

Feeling pretty down about myself....I feel like a complete failure.

I've got to find it within myself to re-commit and get back to the basics.

Hey, I read your blog and feel for you... keep trying you are so young... you have your whole life in front of you still. Biggest tip I can give you is to drink as much water everyday as you can stand... even up to 100 oz... I lost 100 pounds in less than a year once... and drinking the water was a vital part of it.

It flushes out the toxins in your systems.. you will lose weight more quickly and you will have less colds and illnesses..
