Jello After

My guidelines say I can't have Jello the first two weeks after surgery. Why?

In theory, jello could be thick enough/"solid" enough to get stuck trying to pass the band.

All bariatric surgery practices have their own unique dietary guidelines after surgery. Some allow jello, some don't and some suggest "jello as tolerated."

It sounds like your surgeon prefers to be cautious!
