Lapband Questions?

I was wondering..I am 72 pounds overweight and I am 20 years old and considering the lap band procedure. I wanted to know how long I have to see my nutritionist/dietitian for before I can be approved for the procedure? It depends on your particular insurance! Some insurance companies only require one visit with a dietitian, and some require a 3 or 6 month pre-surgery weight loss program. Check with your insurance to clarify. Good luck!
