Powdered Peanut Butter
Low in Calories, High in Taste

If you don't know about powdered peanut butter...

...you should.

Peanut butter powder is basically what's left after the oil is squeezed out of roasted peanuts.

It has 85% less fat calories than regular peanut butter and it doesn't have any artificial sweeteners or preservatives.

I highly recommend the brand PB2 Powdered Peanut Butter. You're suppossed to mix it with water or (low sugar) jam to get a similar consistency to peanut butter.

I have to admit, I don't think the consistency comes close to peanut butter this way, but the taste certainly does.

You'll likely hear me recommend PB2 quite a bit. I suggest using it to add peanut butter flavor to protein shakes, plain yogurt, and even lowfat ricotta cheese or cottage cheese.

2 Tablespoons PB2 = 53 calories, 1.9 grams total fat, 6 grams protein, 3 grams carbohydrate, 2 grams sugar, 78 mg sodium

2 Tablespoon peanut butter = 190 calories, 16 grams total fat, 8 grams protein, 6 grams carbohydrate, 3 grams sugar, 150 mg sodium

PB2 also comes in a chocolate peanut butter flavor! When mixed with plain nonfat Greek yogurt, it tastes like a yummy chocolate peanut butter mousse.
