Does a knee replacement constitute a weight related condition?

Would a knee replacement constitute a weight related health condition?

I am considering getting a lap band. My BMI hovers right around Class III, but I don't have diabetes, hyper tension etc., the normal weight related issues right now.

I did have a knee replacement 2 years ago and it is estimated it will last 15-20 years (at a normal weight). Since I am far heavier than that, my knee will wear out faster. My knee replacement wasn't a direct result of my weight, although I am sure it didn't help it!

Thank you.

Unfortunately a knee replacement is not considered a weight related health condition.
